A project that takes crowdfunding to the next level

On Aug 22, OK Jumpstart will welcome the 7th token sale of Pledgecamp, a blockchain-driven crowdfunding platform that aims at transforming the status-quo of the industry by offering better protection and incentives to both creators and investors.

How It Works

Pledgecamp is a crowdfunding project on blockchain, dubbed Crowdfunding 2.0. This next-generation crowdfunding platform combines decentralized crowdfunding system with blockchain technology, aiming to solve longstanding issues of trust and misaligned user incentives in crowdfunding.

Pledgecamp utilizes blockchain technology to be the first to offer Backer Insurance, a smart contract escrow system that protects investors’ funds. Whereas creators can receive wide-ranging project support and lower platform fees.

In addition, Pledgecamp aligns the incentives of all participants in the network through security features and the design of the Token Economy. Their inclusive and rewarding two-token economy with Pledge Coins (PLG) and Camp Shares (CS) ensure users to be rewarded for their contributions to the ecosystem, which in turn incentivizes engagement with the platform and encourages trust and long-term staking.

The ecosystem of Pledgecamp include the Market Network for hiring services, and the Knowledge Center for crowdfunding research. It fosters trust and collaboration among the crowd and unlock the full, global potential of crowdfunding.
